Christmas Lights Studio may be used with electrical equipment, lighting controllers, power supplies, networking equipment, and other third-party hardware. The user is responsible for selecting, installing, configuring, and operating that equipment safely and in accordance with manufacturer instructions, applicable electrical codes, and local requirements.
Calculations, diagrams, parts lists, wiring suggestions, and AI-assisted recommendations produced by the software are planning aids. They should be independently verified before purchasing equipment or performing electrical work.
By downloading or using Christmas Lights Studio, you acknowledge that you are responsible for installation and use of the software and any associated equipment.

The app opens at http://127.0.0.1:5050/ on the computer where it is installed. Keep its launcher window open. It does not publish your display on the internet or configure a remote Pi connection.
Already using Studio? Close it before upgrading. Your saved music, layouts, zones and shows are kept separately from the application. Backups are saved in the user-data folder’s backups directory. Uninstalling keeps your saved data.
Christmas lighting systems can involve substantial electrical current, outdoor wiring, power supplies, controllers, extension cords, and weather exposure.
Always use appropriately rated equipment, over-current protection, GFCI protection where required, weather-resistant enclosures and connections, and follow equipment manufacturer instructions and applicable electrical requirements.
